Chris Chandler, a life long performer and provocateur, started the Pandemic Lock-Down, by performing a poem a day. After about 100 days, he began his “Poem of the Week,” and in July on the evening that would have been his infamous “Library Show” adding a full set once a month.
Streaming live from the Jim Alberti Theatre in Highland Park, New Jersey, he finds a way to incorporate Very Special Guests into this very unique show.
Tonight’s concert is dedicated to Jim Alberti Hobbs, mentor, professor, vaudevillian and friend. Jim took his flea circus to the stages of MerleFest and Bonnaroo and even became an answer to a Jeopardy question.
Jim passed suddenly on New Year’s Eve, a victim of the COVID pandemic. Proceeds from this event will assist his family.
